More than 4 lakh voters to vote in 80 wards of the corporation - Gautam

Bikaner, 18 October. District Election Officer and District Collector Kumar Pal Gautam informed that after the final publication of the voter list of the Municipal Corporation General Election 2019, now 4 lakh 41 thousand 305 voters will exercise their vote in 80 wards of Bikaner Municipal Corporation. Bikaner West Assembly constituency has 39 wards, while Bikaner East Assembly has 41 wards.

Gautam informed that out of 39 municipal ward identified in Bikaner West assembly constituency, 2 lakh 16 thousand 360 voters will be able to exercise their franchise in the upcoming corporation elections. Among them, there are 1 lakh 12 thousand 54 male voters, while the number of female voters is 1 lakh 4 thousand 300. The number of third gender voters is 6. Of these, 3 voters are in ward number 24 and 3 third gender voter ward number 61.  

He informed that the maximum number of voters are Eight thousand and ninety eight in the ward number 46; There are 4 thousand 241 male voters in this ward, which is the highest in this constituency. Similarly, the maximum number of women voters is ward no. 56, which is three thousand eight hundred and ninety eight.

The District Election Officer said that after the final publication of voter lists in the Municipal Corporation elections, 2 lakh 24 thousand 945 voters will exercise their franchise in 41 wards of Bikaner East Assembly constituency. These include 1 lakh 15 thousand 358 male and 1 lakh 9 thousand 587 female voters. 

The maximum number of voters in these 41 wards is in ward number 52, where the number of voters is 8 thousand 912. Women and men voters are also the highest in this ward. The number of male voters is 4 thousand 510, while the number of female voters is 4 thousand 402.
